Fé15 boys reach County Final:

Our fantastic Fé15 boys have continued their journey to this year’s county final, following a great victory over Cloughduv on Sunday, played on the Bishopstown 4G pitch. Whilst the final scoreline reads Watergrasshill 4-16 V 2-8 Cloughduv, the game was far from a one-sided affair. Our lads stuck to their task, ensured their work rate was high and backed each other to come through. It’s a busy few weeks coming up for the lads as they first face Clonakilty in the football county final on Saturday 11^th and then face Ibane Gaels in the hurling decider on Sunday 19^th November. We wish the boys and their mentors in both codes the very best for the coming weeks and hope they get their just rewards for their hard work and dedication throughout.

Fé13 boys win P2 Cup

Congratulations to our Fé13 boys who won the Premier 2 Cup Saturday last. Due to all teams finishing on the same points in the group stage, it was a Knock-Out competition with Féile style rules.

The boys won all their games with fantastic performances. Delighted for this hard working group of lads who thoroughly deserved to finish their year on a high.

Upcoming AGM

Members, supporters and friends are all invited to attend the 2023 AGM of Watergrasshill Hurling Club on Thursday 23^rd November at 8:00 pm in Watergrasshill National School. Nominations for officers or executive members should be sent to club secretary no later than 4pm on November 7^th to secretary.watergrasshill.cork@gaa.ie.

As a club, we have seen huge growth in 2023 and 2024 promises to be another exciting year for our club as we continue to provide for current and future generations in our community. We look forward to seeing everyone there.

Sciath Na Scol showdown

By the time you read this report, there will be joy and sadness across the parish as Watergrasshill NS face Glenville NS in the Sciath Na Scol football final in Páirc Uí Chaoimh on Thursday morning. We wish all the players the very best of luck and we’re sure a great day of football awaits.

Lotto

There was no winner of the Lotto Jackpot this week. Numbers drawn were 3, 11, 18 & 32. Lucky dip winners are Danny O’Farrell, Liam Casey, John Bosco Lynch & Barry and Ber (c/o Hut). Congrats to you all. Next week's jackpot is €7,950 and draw will take place on 13^th November in The Hut Bar.

Tickets can also be purchased on-line via our club website (www.watergrasshillgaa.ie).
